MikeRat (Michael Pendergast) is a Minneapolis DJ and producer focused on Dubstep, Glitch, and Hip-Hop. His performances are fun, wobbly, and a little bit weird, and he focuses primarily on high-energy music with slower and funky tempos. He graduated the Institute of Production & Record with a degree in Audio Production and Engineering, and has recently completed the Ableton Expert Certification program at Slam Academy. He currently has one EP available for free on Soundcloud and Bandcamp, and is working on his second which will be finished by the end of 2015. You can hear him play locally at venues like Barfly, The Loft, Skyway Theater, and Studio B.
